Oak Hills Ranch

Yolo County

Multi-Generational Oak Woodlands Conserved

The ranch includes 3,316 acres of rangeland in western Yolo County. The conservation easement protects habitat for migratory bird species such as the threatened Swainson’s hawk, red-tailed hawk and burrowing owl, provides habitat for California red-legged frog, California tiger salamander, and Foothill yellow-legged frog, and hosts blue oak woodlands and other native plant communities. This project was funded by California Wildlife Conservation Board.
