Bruce is a now retired real estate businessman with an affinity and appreciation for the western way of life and the myriad benefits to our society provided by well-managed rangelands. Born and raised in San Francisco, CA and educated at Stanford, he is now residing in Glen Ellen, CA with his wife of over 40 years, Elizabeth (Liz) Hart. For 46 years, Bruce worked in real estate development and program management. Though he retired in 2019, he continues to stay busy through his community involvement with organizations like The Herbst Foundation, the Fallen Lake Community Services District, and the California Rangeland Trust. Before joining the Rangeland Trust Board of Directors, Bruce served on the Trust’s Legacy Council and was a member of its Finance Committee for nearly 10 years. In his spare time, Bruce enjoys improving his property in Glen Ellen, riding his horse across California’s wide-open spaces and helping work cattle on his friends’ ranches.
